I found The Bear by Anton Chekov to be oddly entertaining; it had an almost practical humor about them. The way the Mrs. Poppv pawned over her husband's death even though he had cheated on her behalf numerous of times were hilarious to me because I've well-known people like this who would keep with someone in order to keep face for culture. They would undergo and imagine to be happy simply to say they have a husband. There was clearly a lot of bizarre circumstance in this perform that was unconventional about what I was value to. The unreasonable actions and behaviors of the characters is exactly what were enjoyable about it. In the opening scene Mrs. Poppv wants to " share death”. She talks as if her life is more than now that her husband is gone. You would anticipate that they a new good relationship but you come to learn that her spouse was terrible and scammed on her daily. This makes her commitment to him comical. The way Smirnov barges into her home raving and ranting regarding his other debtors like that should affect the way this individual handles the debt with her. Everything was really over irritated when the duty collector received angry having been really upset, when the widowers was stressed out she was actually depressed. As an example the tax collector was therefore angry he broke the furniture the widower was so stressed out she locked herself in her house.  Both from the Mrs. Poppv and Smirnov do a best wishes at hearing and looking with one another. At one particular point in the play Smirnov got genuinely angry and knocked straight down a a glass which simply by his response I do not think was suppose to occur but Mrs. Poppv was able to use that and make it seem as if it was part of the perform. I felt like the more than exaggeration is what made the play funnier because it was ridiculous just how sad the girl was following her husband had been deceased for so long " all of us understand your life sucks although get up and do something about it". The taxes collector was so frustrated with life that he was willing to end his life mainly because all of his debtors would not pay up...
